The rebound characteristics of a mesh head depend on the number of mesh ply. If you need a more realistic acoustic drum sound, fasten a strainer to your snare drum. If it feels difficult to control the rebound of the bass drum beater, putting fabric such as a cushion into your bass drum inside may reduce the rebound force. Put a bass drum patch on the head or use a plastic beater. Using one may result in significant abrasion.
When using a mesh bass drum head, DO NOT use a felt bass drum beater. If the sound is not produced properly, be sure to confirm the tension of each mesh head. If the mesh head is too loose, detection of the drum trigger may decline. When using mesh heads, be sure to tighten the tension of each mesh head firmly.
